INDIANA GRAND AWARD – Knife Throwing

Rules

 INDIANA GRAND AWARD – Knife Throwing – women, men.

The competition is open to anyone regardless of age, weight, gender and sexual orientation!!!

1. Accuracy Throw

A throwing competition is based on the accuracy of hitting the pistol target 50 to 50cm whith its center located in the range from 120 to 150 cm above the ground. The distance of the individual targets are met from 3 meters, 4 m, 5 m, 6 m, 7 m, 8 m, 9 m, 10 m, 11m and 12 m.
Each competitor begins at the stake 3 meters from the target with 3 throws for each distance track – three throws whose sum is written into the overall evaluation. If a competitor on the stake fails to hack the knife into the target (so as has 0 points), he ends at this distance goal and the discipline is finished for him.
Achieved results are recorded in the overall classification in throwing knife.
It is allowed to use one or more throwing knifes with a single spike only.
The Competition has no training throws.

2. Distance Throw

The long distance throwing competition is based on hitting the international pistol target 50 x 50 cm with its center located 120-150 cm above the ground. The competitor begins at the stake of 12 meters from the target with 3 throws, then continues to another base with 3 throws for each distance track until until a knife can hack – all hacked throws sum is written into the overall evaluation. The winner is the one who hits the farthest destination. If a competitor on the stake fails to hack the knife into the target (so as has 0 points), he ends and the discipline is finished for him.
Achieved results are recorded in the overall classification in throwing knife. The contest continues until the disposal of the last competitor on the outermost base.
It is allowed to use one or more throwing knifes with a single spike.
The Competition has no training throws.

In case of a tie there is the shootout followed by three throws at a distance of 6 meters.

BEWARE it is allowed to use one throwing knife with a single spike only.
In case of hitting the target it is applied the so-called “draw a line” hitting.

Final placing is based on the total number of points awarded in hitting the targets in all turns.
The winner becomes the Master of Knife throwing of Indiana Grand Award!
The winner is inscribed in the Indiana Chronicle and is awarded with a professional quality throwing knife.
The winner gains a unique Indiana grand award memorial statuette and an Indiana medal.
