WAC goes from more than a twenty years tradition in holding of western competes. The beginning reaches by the year 1989, when in the Czech Republic arose the first compete in operating long whips of the Mickey memorial race. In the year 1994 arranged the W Club the first official championship in operating special lasso tricks. In the year 1994 T.O.Faraon arranged in the village Staré Hamry Košárky the first championship in the Czech Republic in throwing knives and tomahawks.  In the year 1998 arose an open championship in hitting targets with a long whip – the price of Indiana Jones, organizer GIN. Since 1999 began the competition of the Indiana Jones price hold by the committee in composition GIN, the Scouting centre in Rýmařov and W. Club. The price contained until 2002 except hitting targets with a long whip also another discip lines like special lasso tricks, throwing knives and tomahawks. In the year 2003 in support of the International Western Club WWAC – Wild West Arts Club – USA  and the Scouting centre arose on the scout ground in Rýmařov at the Indiana Jones price, the first official European championship in disciplines of – operating long whips, special lasso tricks and in throwing knives and tomahawks and operating with western revolvers. The competition itself – the European championship has been supervised by representatives of the WWAC granted a credit for holding the official European championship with the representation for the European Union in the Czech Republic. The Indiana Jones price includes since 2003 again only the discipline in operating a long whip namely especially hitting various targets. In the year 2008 was to the Indiana Jones price the Junior Frank Elstner price in western disciplines in operating long whips and special lasso tricks linked. The European WWAC branch made itself independent and as a succession organization WAAC Europe accepted the new title Western Arts Club EU.

WAC as well as in former times WWAC is guarantee of the European championship.
